Francisco Córdova

Director of the PHYSICAL MOMENTUM scenic action. He is originally from Guanajuato, and has currently positioned himself in the international scene as a performer, choreographer and pedagogue; participating in numerous encounters and festivals in over 30 countries. In the European scene, he has been qualified as one of the most representative pedagogues and dancers of the new contemporary dance. He is director of PHYSICAL MOMENTUM company and the ATLAS Mexico Festival, as well as being founder director of the Fábrica Escena S.C. civil society. He holds a masters’ degree in theatrical studies and stage direction, as well as stage lighting, both from the Institut del Teatre (IT) in Barcelona, Spain. He also holds a degree in Contemporary Dance from the National Dance School of Mexico (ENDCC). He studied in Montreal, Canada, with the Le Jeune Ballet Company (JBC) in Quebec, and in New York with the Hispanic Ballet (BH). He profiles within the avant-garde teachings of world dance, with his 21 years of experience, especially because of his Body-Art methodological proposal, with which he has taught multiple workshops in recognized international artistic centers.
